seniors-on-bus St George Getaway Start planning your fall vacation to Zion National Park! We’ll go to Tuacahn’s Newsies performance, visit local church history sites, take a scenic sunset drive up Snow Canyon, enjoy the swimming and local amenities surrounding our 4-star hotel, and spend some time in Zion National Park. All transportation, lodging and ticket costs are included in the cost of the tour. You will only be required to purchase one meal per day at convenient locations where price variability exists. seniors-on-bus Acrylic Painting Class Discover the artist within you! We will do an acrylic painting of a piece of fruit on a 5” X 7” canvas board to learn basic skills. We will include an 8” X 10" and an 11” X 14” canvas for your skills to progress. You may bring a favorite photo for inspiration or bring a project you are already working on. We’ll provide all the supplies to get you started as well as direction for purchasing materials to further your hobby. All levels are welcome.

seniors-on-bus Beginning Guitar Group Lessons It is never too late to learn a new instrument. Come learn how to play some of your favorite songs on the guitar. Students interested in this class must purchase or have their own guitar. If you need recommendations, just show up the first day and the instructor will give you some purchasing pointers.

seniors-on-bus 60+ Discovery Tours

Upcoming tours for those ages 60+ may include traditional favorites like the Payson Salmon Supper, as well as new explorations around the state. This summer we will be visiting Historic Wheeler Farm, The Hare Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork, Mirror Lake, Hogle Zoo, and the Salt Lake City Farmer’s Market. Stop by and check our calendar or call us for more details. Patrons must find a ride to and from the community center.

Activity prices will range between $10-$30, 25% member discount. Dates & times will vary.

Come enhance your exercise routine with an individual exercise coach! Get your questions answered and learn how to achieve your fitness goals. Leave your contact information at the front desk and our wellness coach will get in touch to schedule a group appointment.

iPad Basics

Learn how to use your newest gadget in this course that covers the basics of using an iPad, controlling your iPad settings, and exploring apps that will enhance your life.

Computer Basics

Begins July 5

Do you find using a computer difficult and frustrating? Come learn the basics of computers with us! We will learn how to log on to a computer, how to open and use applications (programs), and how to send and check email.

Computer Class II

Begins August 2

Does your screen have too many files saved on it? Get help organizing files and photos. Learn how to back up your computer and even have fun customizing your desktop background and screen saver with your favorite photos.


 

Open Computer Lab Lab hours provide one-on-one help with all your technology questions. (Computers, Cameras, iPods, Phones, etc.)

When Check with the front desk for current schedule when lab assistant is available to answer questions. Usually from 4:00-5:00PM after class sessons.

Dances Bring your partner or come stag to enjoy a night of dancing. This is a social event where the experience, ambiance, and refreshments will please you.

Book of the Month This class includes a copy of the book of the month as well as a Book Club Guide (binder containing information about the book, author and questions to help stimulate discussion at the Book Club meetings). Light refreshments will be provided at the book introduction meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
