Adaptive Programming

Program fees are shown with $5 early bird discount if signed up before registration deadline.
Adaptive Swim School Adaptive group lessons are geared for children with physical or cognitive disabilities. Students will learn stroke techniques, water safety, self-confidence, and teamwork.  Parents, please note that our goal is to ensure that each child has the most successful experience possible and in order to do so the first day of classes will be an assessment of abilities.  There is a possibility that the time of your child’s class may change to the other adaptive time slot if the instructor feels it is a better fit for your child.

downs-syndrome-girl-and-teacher Adaptive Summer Adventure Kids Camp

Let us elevate the typical summer day camp experience. Each week of camp has a unique theme with corresponding experiential hands-on learning activities, field trips, demonstrations, décor and snacks. Our friendly and passionate camp counselors are trained not only to give your kids an awesome and unforgettable experience through play, but to teach them how to develop a love of learning, build greater confidence in their abilities and ask questions, preparing them for their next academic school year. Mark your calendars now. Registration opens in May.

*Our general camp and the adaptive camp will experience activities and field trips together where the situation permits.

These adaptive sessions of camp are specifically designed and staffed for children with special needs. The staff to child ratio is organized in advance and is based on the needs assessment you fill out prior to camp so your little one can safely participate in all the same activities as the general summer camp. We offer multiple activities and outings for inclusion with the general summer camp program, however this camp will target the development of specific social skills such as recognizing and managing emotions, establishing positive relationships and making responsible decisions. We’ll take your little one(s) to unique destinations to experience something for the very first time! Let’s make this summer one to remember!

Ages 6-12
