Volunteering in the Parks The mission of the volunteer program at the Parks Division is to enhance the quality of life for people through the professional and coordinated stewardship of the Parks Division. Citizens are offered the opportunity to serve with integrity, civility and accountability; to make a difference.
Groups and Projects
Some of Provo City's greatest assets are its volunteer minded citizens and its geographic location. The majestic Wasatch Mountain range on the east and the Provo River and trails meandering throughout the city, provides for a variety of opportunities for service projects for citizens of any age or ability.
Service opportunities are available for any size of
business and corporate groups
family activities (children, parents, grandparents, etc.)
Eagle Scout projects
Most service projects involve: weeding, raking, trash pickup, preparing for and laying sod, planting trees, creating and maintaining tree aprons, painting and trail building.
Service ProjectsThere is a great need for volunteers year-round. No group is too large or too small. There are no qualifications - everyone can volunteer!
Your group can volunteer in the cemetery, parks or trail and there is always something that can be done to beautify our areas.
Please call (801) 852-7607 or email Ralston Ramkissoon Volunteer Coordinator, for more information.
Thank you for helping us keep Provo City's Parks, trails and cemetery safe by alerting us to any safety issue on our grounds.
Eagle Scout Projects
Provo City has benefited from many Eagle Scout projects in the parks and on the trails and hope to continue with more projects in the future.
